  • Details: Award-winning Chez Christophe Chocolaterie Patisserie has launched a limited edition Mother’s Day Chocolate and Dessert Collection designed to celebrate moms of all ages. With locations in Burnaby Heights and White Rock, Chez Christophe is renowned for its handcrafted chocolate showpieces, artisan bonbons and decadent pastries and cakes. This new collection is available for pre-order and in-store, with select pickup dates until Saturday.
    • Treat specials include the Raspberry and Earl Grey Cake, “Breakfast in Bed” Chocolate Showpiece, Mother’s Day Chocolate Box or various spring beverages.

Spring at L’Abattoir: Mother’s Day Brunch & Le Petit Menu

  • Where: 217 Carrall Street, Vancouver
  • Details: Mother’s Day Brunch – Sunday, May 11
    • Guests are invited to a four-course Mother’s Day Brunch served in L’Abattoir’s Private Dining Room. This ticketed event features a set menu complemented by mimosas or house-made mocktails, with seating at communal tables that foster a inviting and social dining environment. This year, L’Abattoir has parterned with Garden Party Flowers to give guests the option to add a bouquet for mom that will be delivered and ready to be gifted when they arrive for brunch. Tickets are priced at $105 per person (exclusive of taxes and gratuity), with limited seating available.
    • Le Petit Menu – New this season, Le Petit Menu is a $65 prix fixe experience that celebrates the restaurant’s enduring commitment warm hospitality, thoughtful cooking and the use of locally sourced ingredients. With optional wine pairings alongside both seasonal offerings and guest favourites, the menu showcases some of what L’Abattoir does best. Reservations and menu now available.

  • Details: Celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with an adventure at Greendale Acres Farm. On May 10–11, join the Tulip Dig and take home 25 bulbs to replant. Just bring your own shovel and be ready to get a little muddy. On Sunday, May 11, all moms enjoy free admission and a special pancake breakfast from 10:00am to 11:00am. It’s the perfect way to wrap up tulip season with a day full of flowers, fresh air and family fun on the farm.

  • Details: This Mother’s Day, Lavantine invites you to its very first brunch service Champagne Brunch (with a live DJ). Guests can enjoy a selection of Mediterranean-inspired dishes: Burrata with Roasted Grapes and Shakshouka to inventive options like Falafel Waffle & Fried Chicken or Cinnamon Bun Pancakes with passionfruit curd. Finish with dessert options such as, Egyptian Rice Pudding or a refreshing sorbet trio. Their special drink features include the Fig Peach Bellini, Pomegranate Aperol Spritz and Veuve Clicquot Brut Champagne ($25 for 4oz | $115 per bottle)—will be available all day. Reservations here.

Loam Bistro

  • When: Friday May 9th to Sunday May 11th
  • Details: Loam Bistro presents a heartfelt menu inspired by the women who shaped the team’s love for food. Chef Rahul honors his mother in India with a special Lobster & Tarragon Benny, featuring butter-poached Atlantic lobster on a brioche round, soft-poached eggs and a velvety tarragon hollandaise, served with a fresh shaved asparagus and fennel salad. Complementing this is a refreshing Iced Matcha with condensed milk and strawberry compote (pictured above), inspired by Honoka’s mom in Japan. It’s a beautiful fusion of love and heritage – crafted to celebrate moms everywhere. The features will be available all weekend.

  • Details: Glowbal’s flagship establishment will present a Brunch Buffet featuring an Oyster and Chilled Seafood Buffet including highlights like a Jumbo Prawn Cocktail Tower and Snow Crab Legs – as well as Prime Beef, As-You-Like-It Omelette Chef Stations, Nori Rolls, Classic Hot and Cold Favourites, Pasta, Mother’s Day Macarons, Lemon & Raspberry Meringue Tarts, Coconut Panna Cotta and more for $95 per person plus tax and gratuity or $35 for kids aged 12 and under.  H2 Kitchen + Bar

  • Where: The Westin Bayshore Vancouver, 1601 Bayshore Drive
  • When: Sunday, May 11th
  • Details: Celebrate Mother’s Day with a brunch buffet at H2 Kitchen + Bar. Savour brunch classics like crispy brioche French toast, eggs benedict and a selection of hot entrées, including roasted steelhead salmon, braised Fraser Valley chicken curry and seafood risotto. There is also a seafood station, featuring freshly steamed Dungeness crab, poached shrimp and Bay scallop ceviche. Kids stations include crispy chicken nuggets, mini fish tacos and a waffle bar loaded with toppings. Finish off with desserts like Earl Grey Basque cheesecake, chocolate tarts and a white and dark chocolate fountain with fresh fruit and marshmallows. Check out the full menu or make a reservation.

Fairmont Specials and Brunch

  • Fairmont Hotel Vancouver Mother’s Day Brunch at Notch8: Indulge in a sweet and savoury brunch favourites, a chef-attended carving station and decadent desserts created by an in-house pastry chefs. Experience includes a glass of sparkling rosé or sparkling apple juice for each guest. A watercolour portrait artist will be on-site, creating complimentary keepsake paintings, on a first come, first-serve basis. Adults $95 | Children $45. Reservations can be made here for Sunday, May 11th.

  • Fairmont Pacific Rim Mother’s Day Brunch at Botanist with Beta5 Chocolates: This Mother’s Day, celebrate with a three-course brunch. Executive Chef Hector Laguna and his team have curated a menu that brings together fresh, local ingredients with bold flavours, with a custom gift box from Beta5 Chocolates. Savour each bite, raise a glass and make Mom’s day unforgettable. $89 per person. Reservations can be made here for May 10th or 11th.

  • Fairmont Waterfront Mother’s Day Bottomless Brunch at ARC: Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Fairmont Waterfront with a bottomless brunch. This offering of sweet and savoury tasting plates includes afternoon tea cakes, mouthwatering smoked salmon roesti and lobster mac and cheese (amongst many more). Mothers will also enjoy a complimentary ‘Momosa’, a sparkling twist on the classic mimosa, served in a chic setting with waterfront views. Adults $109 | Children $55. Kawartha Dairy New Britannia Beach Location

  • Where: 109 Church Street, Britannia Beach
  • When: Now Open
  • Details: Kawartha Dairy, Eastern Canada’s most beloved ice cream shop and dairy has opened its first location outside Ontario in Britannia Beach. The store softly opened on April 10th inside the restored 70-year-old Britannia Mine community church building. Open 7 days a week from 12:00pm – 8:00pm, it will offer 35 flavours of their legendary ice cream along with milkshakes to enjoy on the cozy patio facing Britannia Creek and ice cream tubs to take home. They also offer gluten free, reduced sugar or lactose free ice creams and dairy free sorbet.

Bar Susu Says Farewell to Mount Pleasant

  • Where: 209 E 6th Avenue, Vancouver
  • When: May 30th, 2025
  • Details: After an unforgettable three year run, Boxset Collective is officially closing Bar Susu on May 30th. The beloved Mount Pleasant natural wine bar and late-night spot will celebrate its final weeks with a special series of throwback dishes, bottle highlights, cocktails and events to pay tribute to the many chapters of Susu’s story. Since opening as a temporary pop-up in 2022, it won several accolades, including Gold for Best New Restaurant in the 2022 Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards and landing on the inaugural Michelin Guide Vancouver recommended list. Make a reservation to say goodbye and have one last visit.

Tour De France: Ambleside Restaurant Mèreon Introduces New Prix-Fixe Menu

  • Where: 1479 Clyde Avenue, West Vancouver
  • When: Starting Thursday, May 22 – new menu every 2 months
  • Details: Beloved bistro Mèreon will lead lovers of French cuisine on curated tours of the county’s most celebrated regions via an ongoing series of prix-fixe feasts that kicks off on Thursday, May 22 at the North Shore dining destination (1479 Clyde Ave.). The series is set to begin at 5:00pm on May 22 with a showcase of the Lyon region that served as the initial inspiration for Owner, Ophelia Arida, to open the restaurant in 2024.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse New Izakaya Menu

  • Where: 1042 Alberni Street, Vancouver
  • When: Now Available
  • Details: Japanese Steakhouse, Kobe, has launched their new nightly Izakaya menu. Notable food features from the menu include Edamame, Ebi Mayo Prawns, Chicken Karaage, Dynamite Roll, Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi and Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice. They also have new cocktails to choose from – such as the Japanese Gin & Juice, Sapphire Margarita, Green Dragon Margarita, Okinawa Cold Brew, Matcha Moonlight and many more. Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie Celebrates 15 Years in Vancouver Chinatown

  • Where: 163 Keefer Street, Vancouver
  • When: May 1, 2025
  • Details: To mark its 15th anniversary, Bao Bei Chinese Brasserie (Bao Bei), one of Vancouver Chinatown’s most beloved contemporary restaurants, is revisiting its roots. Bao Bei has brought back three of their most iconic dishes from the original opening menu (Shan Tofu, Steamed Spring Salmon and Crispy Pork Belly), alongside special versions of classics such as fried rice and sticky rice cakes created by chef Joël Watanabe. The team will also continue crafting popular cocktails from their beverage menu, including the Chino Margarita and Pina Colada, both of which have been favourites since day one. ¿CóMO? Taperia and Paella Guys Annual Summer Tradition Paella Patio Series

  • Where: 201 E 7th Avenue, Vancouver
  • When: May 25, 2025 through August 31, 2025
  • Details: ¿CóMO? Taperia and Paella Guys are back for the fifth year of their popular Paella Patio Series. This year’s collaboration includes eight Sundays, running through August 31, 2025. Guests can indulge in freshly cooked paella, alongside ¿CóMO? Taperia’s a la carte food and beverage menu. Tickets are on sale now for $28++ per guest.
