Parade of Lost Souls Moves to Trout Lake
byThe Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret Society has announced that the Parade of Lost Souls will move to Trout Lake (John Hendry Park) for this year’s Halloween celebration, taking place November 1st.
Parade of Lost Souls Moves to Trout Lake
- Date: Friday, November 1, 2024 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm
- Location: Trout Lake Park (John Hendry Park, 3360 Victoria Dr, Vancouver)
- Tickets: Free!
This year’s theme is Unplugged!, inspiring us all to unplug from our daily lives and connect directly with each other, with new friends, and with the beauty of the park.
This free event invites the community to celebrate life and honour death through all kinds of fantastical performances, art installations, food trucks and community connection, transforming the park into a vibrant showcase of the sometimes-hidden spirit of Vancouver.
The family-friendly Parade of Little Souls will be at 6:30pm, followed by the main event from 7:00pm to 10:00pm with parades at 7:30pm and 8:30pm. The celebration continues with The Lost Souls After Party at The Biltmore Cabaret from 10:30pm to 2:00am (get tickets here).
“As a non-profit, we rely on our community’s support, and this year we have faced significant challenges,” says Kat Single-Dain, co-founder and artistic executive director of The Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret Society.
“Now, more than ever, we’re calling on our community to rally behind us with donations and involvement. We want to see you not just on the night of Parade, but throughout the year, at the beautiful Dusty Flowerpot Cabaret Studio, where workshops, meetings, costume sales, comedy, dating events, and community rentals happen. We hope to see you on November 1st and beyond!”
