Watch for pop-up performances from local musicians at these outdoor spaces around Burnaby. Artists include Graham Strang, The Lucky Trappers, Dani Black, Jana Seale, Sue Breton , Chris Ho, Glisha, and more.

- When: Two show times every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11:30am and 2:00pm

Celebrate the summer with a free live performance series. Bright a chair or a blanket and enjoy the shows that include a variety of acts like Burnaby Lyric Opera, Will’s Jams, Elvis tribute artist Aaron Wong, Kellie Haines, GinaLina, Pangaea Arts, Beauty Shop Dolls: Magical Kingdom, and many more including Indigenous storytelling with Kung Jaadee.

Summer Cinema kicks off at Confederation Park on August 2nd and continues at Civic Square on Friday evenings this August. Bring a blanket or chair, some movie snacks and enjoy the show.

At Civic Square:
- Friday, August 16, 2024 – Barbie
- Friday, August 23, 2024 – Wonka
- Friday, August 30, 2024 – Sonic 2
For the movie nights at Civic Square, free underground parking is available at the Bob Prittie Metrotown library, and there are also portable washrooms on-site. Arrive early and visit with costumed characters from each of the movies who will be making appearances.
