MATCH Eatery and Public House in Langley is Reopening

The best patio in the Fraser Valley is opening up again! Gateway Casinos & Entertainment has announced that select MATCH Eatery & Public House locations will reopen for dine-in and takeout service. Over the next couple of weeks, MATCH will be phasing the reopening of locations across Canada, starting with Langley on Monday, June 8, 2020 and Courtenay on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.

MATCH Eatery and Public House in Langley

Where: 20393 Fraser Highway, Langley
Hours: Sunday to Thursday 4:00pm to 11:00pm
Friday and Saturday 4:00pm to 1:00am
Seating will be available in the dining room and on the patio

Guests will be able to enjoy the signature patios, each featuring their own bar area, booth and table seating, warm woods and signature red accents, and outdoor fire tables. Daily Happy Hour specials (starting at 4:00pm) and fan favourites like half-price Wine Wednesday and daily features are also back.

Waitlist and Digital Menus

MATCH has implemented a new virtual queue system that will allow guests to text to join the waitlist and safely wait in their vehicles until their table is ready. “This system will allow our staff to properly prepare the dining room for each guest, and ensure there is no congestion at the entrance as guests wait to be seated, ” says Pollock. This system will also allow guests to receive the menu digitally on their own personal device. 

Additional Safety Protocols

Restaurants will reduce seating capacities to 50% in order to comply with public health guidelines for safe distancing and allow for minimum of six feet between each seated group/party of guests. 

All tables, chairs and all tabletop items are sanitized between each seating. All high touch areas are sanitized frequently throughout the day.  Employee wellness will be checked at the beginning of each shift and no employee is allowed in the restaurant with any flu-like symptoms. 

Low and no contact payment is required. For the safety of guests and team we will not be accepting cash payments at this time.  A separate reduced contact section will be designated for take-out and delivery options. You can view MATCH’s safety commitment here.
