Take a lesson, watch some pros, enjoy music and movement at the Vancouver Art Gallery’s plazas, Robson Square, and Jim Deva Plaza. Here are the two main organizers:

The first outdoor event of this season features the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence on July 5th at Jim Deva Plaza. Warm up with some Zumba and DJ MiXXX playing Top 40, some oldies, and some requests.

Where: Robson Square
Sunday Afternoon Salsa at Robson Square is an annual series of FREE outdoor salsa dances held at Robson Square in downtown Vancouver (since 2006) during the summer months of July and August.
Each event starts with a free beginner dance lesson at 3:00pm, followed by social dancing 3:30pm to 5:00pm and performances 5:00pm to 5:30pm. Then it’s a free dance for all from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
