Vancouver Pride Parade Route, Road Closures
by2018 marks the 40th anniversary of Pride in Vancouver, the most diverse festivals and parade in the city. There are over 50 Pride events throughout the summer and none draws as many people as the legendary Vancouver Pride Parade, with an expected audience of 650,000!
Vancouver Pride Parade
Where: Downtown Vancouver along Robson, Denman, and Beach Ave
When: Sunday, August 5, 2018 12:00pm to 3:00pm
The beautiful, diverse, colourful, and extremely fun Pride Parade is a staple of the Vancouver summer calendar, and with 130+ parade entries, there will lots of amazing floats you won’t want to miss.
Be on the lookout for volunteers from Safeway along the route again this year collecting toonies and other donations that will help fund another year of amazing events for the LGBTQ2+ community and beyond.
Top off your parade experience with the Sunset Beach Festival from 11:00am to 6:00pm.
Vancouver Pride Parade Route
The parade will start on Robson at Burrard, turn down Denman to Beach Ave where it will finish at the merge with Pacific.
Vancouver Pride Parade Road Closures
There will be road closures and transit re-routes in place until about 4:00pm. Check the City’s VanConnect app for more info.
