Modern Calligraphy and High Tea with Lele Chan

Embrace the lost art of hand-lettering with a very special event at Four Seasons Vancouver. Join expert Lele Chan to learn the tools, basic strokes and letter forms to cursive lettering and beginner’s calligraphy. This workshop will teach you beautiful writing techniques and provide a hands-on, interactive calligraphy experience.

Modern Calligraphy and High Tea

The exclusive workshop includes an overview of Modern Calligraphy, in-depth letter instruction and hands-on, one-on-one demonstrations. Guests will receive also all of LeLe’s favourite tools and supplies to get you started on your hand-lettering journey.

  • Lele’s Modern Calligraphy Basics booklet
  • Personalized Rhodia notepad
  • A set of Lele’s favourite writing tools and supplies
  • Sparkling High Tea: Sparkling wine, elegant finger sandwiches, scones, sweets, quiche and, of course, tea.

About Lele Chan

Lele loves everything to do with good design; making beautiful things that put smiles on faces is her mission in life. A dreamer, designer and artist happily living in Vancouver, Chan’s love of typography, art and design has refocused her career. Lele Chan Design offers services in calligraphy, hand lettering, watercolour artwork, branding, and graphic design for web and print. Prior to that Chan owned Lé Soirées Weddings & Events, a successful boutique wedding planning company that proved the perfect blend of Chan’s passions and skills.
