Valentine’s Day Speed Dating

Canada’s largest speed dating company, Dashing Date, is back at it again with their annual coast-to-coast Valentine’s Day event. On February 14th, over 200 pre-screened Canadian singles across 5 cities will give their phone the night off, speed-date, and give real human connection a chance again.

This year, contrary to Dashing Date’s usual light-hearted style, TRULY MADLY DEEPLY! Valentine’s Day Speed Dating will boast an all-encompassing romantic theme. 11 events for singles in their 20s, 30s and over 40 are happening on Valentine’s Day evening a mari usque ad mare, each tailored to a specific age range. All guests attending will take part in Dashing Date’s Secret Admirer gift-exchange and can expect ice-breaker games, speed dating, a chic ambiance and, as always, an expertly-hosted event.

5 years ago, while the concept of “Swiping” took front and centre, turning the dating arena into a revolving door of never-ending choices, Dashing Date set out to bring the human-connection back to the scene with their in-person events for eligible singles and modern approach to matchmaking.

With an overflow of lacklustre dating apps, Dashing Date Founder and Dating Expert, Kavita Ajwani, noticed there was a lack of intimacy and genuine desire to find a committed relationship. Online dating being so saturated and predictable, the need to meet singles in real life was in dire need of a comeback, enter Dashing Date!

“With countless couples now in long-term relationships after meeting at our events, we’ve proven that connecting with humans in real life will never go out of style. Taking a night off from swiping can result in finding the love of your life” explains Ajwani. “We already spend hours in front of screens and, for something as personal as meeting someone to date, singles are looking for a fresh and more personal alternative. It’s time to unplug our phones and connect to people instead.”

There are two events in Vancouver:

TRULY MADLY DEEPLY! SPEED DATING For Ages 25-37, happening at Lickerish Lounge located at 903 Davie St. Start time is 7:30PM. Regular ticket price is $39.

TRULY MADLY DEEPLY! SPEED DATING For Ages 36-48, happening at The Emerald located at 555 Gore Ave. Start time is 7:30PM. Regular ticket price is $42.
