We have an election coming up in our province this year, where you can vote and make your voice heard! All eligible British Columbians can get out to vote in the next provincial general election which is scheduled for May 9, 2017.

Make sure you’re registered and that your information is correct now so that you get a Where to Vote card in the mail and are ready to vote when the election is called in April.

Make sure you’re on the voters list. Take a few minutes to complete this online form to make sure you are registered and that your information is correct. By registering or updating your registration info now, you will save time when you vote.

Tuesday, April 11, 2017
Writ Day: The day the election is scheduled to be officially called.
Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 11:59:59pm
General voter registration closes
Registration by phone and online closes. Voters can still register when they vote.
Saturday, April 29 to Sunday, April 30, 2017 (8:00am to 8:00pm local time)
Advance voting (open to all eligible voters)
Wednesday, May 3 to Saturday, May 6, 2017 (8:00am to 8:00pm local time)
Advance voting (open to all eligible voters)
Tuesday, May 9, 2017 (8:00am to 8:00pm Pacific time)

In February and March, Elections BC will be updating the voters list to get British Columbians ready to vote. You can look for Elections BC voter registration drives in your community, and check out their website for news and information from now until after the election.
