Team China Fireworks Photos from the Honda Celebration of Light
The Honda Celebration of Light kicked off its 25th season last night with China up first in the world’s largest offshore fireworks competition. Vancouver PD estimates 250,000-260,000 people packed Vancouver beaches last night to take in the show that was preceded by an aerial display by stunt pilot “Super” Dave Mathieson.

Coming up on Wednesday, July 29th, Team Brazil will light up the skies at 10:00pm and the Canadian Armed Forces “Skyhawks” will put on the airshow at 8:00pm. On Saturday, August 1st, Team Canada will be up at 10:00pm along with “Skydancer” Anna Serbinenko at 8:00pm.
