Araxi Longtable Series Summer 2015
byAraxi Restaurant is now accepting reservations for their popular summer longtable series happening in Vancouver and Pemberton. This al fresco dining experience is set in two striking locations, driving home the farm-to-table concept through locally sourced and crafted four course menus.
Araxi Longtable Series
Award-winning Executive Chef James Walt will craft exclusive menus that showcase his internationally recognized farm-to-table dishes. With wine pairings by Samantha Rahn, 2013 Sommelier of the Year, and service orchestrated by renowned Restaurant Director Neil Henderson, the Longtable Dinners salute both Araxi’s culinary provenance and it’s future. This year, as a convenience for guests, the dinners will be staged on the BC Day and Labour Day long weekends.
Vancouver @ Bard on the Beach, Vanier Park
Monday, August 3, 2015
This dinner will welcome 250 guests to a dramatic urban setting, and Chef Walt will be supported by his Vancouver-based Toptable Group colleagues, chefs Frank Pabst of Blue Water Cafe, Andrew Richardson of CinCin Ristorante, Quang Dang of West Restaurant, and Thierry Busset of Thierry Chocolaterie Patisserie and Cafe.
Pemberton @ North Arm Farm
Saturday, September 5, 2015
The Pemberton Longtable Dinner will be the longest table staged at North Arm Farm to date. Chef Walt’s menu embraces the extraordinary local ingredients, harvested at the peak of the season, and guests will have the opportunity to meet the farmers and suppliers, and tour the organic fields where, just hours before, farmers pick the produce next to the outdoor kitchen.
Elegant yet informal, guests may arrive as strangers, but leave as long-lost friends. Tickets are just $159 plus tax and gratuity, and include a four-course dinner served ‘family style’ with selected wine pairings. The longtable dinners sell out quickly; tickets can be purchased online or via email at [email protected].
