Canada Day at Canada Place will once again be hopping with music, activities, fireworks and family entertainment this July 1st. Now, festival goers will also get the chance to check out the new War of 1812 Experience that opened yesterday.

On this day in 1994, the Gulf of Georgia Cannery in Steveston celebrated its 100th birthday and re-opened to the public.
