My left forearm’s “Semper Ad Meliora” would be my favourite 🙂
I just recently got a tattoo on my forearm with lyrics from Ani Difranco’s “32 Flavours.” They remind me to be a strong woman, and to keep on keepin’ on when things get tough.
I saw a girls tattoo today, and it read “I’m the superhero of this story”. I really liked that.
I have a Koi fish tattoo on my foot, that is a coverup of a horrible tattoo I had, and I LOVE it! No one can tell it’s a cover-up either!
I do want to get “whisper words of wisdom” on my forearm though, to cover up some burn scars from when I worked as a baker’s helper and to also remind myself to let the stupid things I say and do go. =)
[Tamara means] palm tree
and a phoenix
Would love to go to the show! *fingers x-ed*
I love my chickadee tattoo!
I would love to get my parent’s signatures somewhere on my foot or ankle
I have song lyrics and my children’s names/footprints. I named my first son after Ami James of Miami Ink, it would be amazing to meet Chris !!
I would love to get a tattoo on my foot with a line from my wedding song
My best friend and I grew up across the street from each other for 20 years. We used to count the steps in between our houses and check if the number went down as we got older. We both want to get the infinity sign on our foots, with the number 46 incorporated into it…and we want to get it done at the show!!
My mom and I have matching foot tattoos. They are Cherry Blossoms and mine says “I love you forever” and hers says “I’ll like you for always” which is a quote from the Robert Munsch book she used to read to me growing up. Has a ton of sentimental meaning!
My friend lost his father at a young age and as a tribute to him he had his dads signature tattoed onto his forarm. It’s especially sentimental because he doesn’t even remember his dad but had found the signature in an old birthday card!
I’d love to check it out. I want to get a tattoo of my heartbeat around my chest.
I adore my tiger lily and butterflies, its a lil colorful garden (intend to add to to them soooon) love colors! Need a lil inspiration and going to the west coast tattoo and culture show may be where I find some 🙂
I just got a matching feather with my best friend of 15 years+ – mine on my right forearm, hers on her left shoulder blade!
My fav tho is my little bumblebee on my inner right elbow – it’s resting on a gorgeous purple chive flower and it reminds me to enjoy the honey in my life (family, friends and all my loved ones) coz I’m super busy like a bee as well 🙂
Hope I win tix – would love to go check out all the artists in town and inspiration for more ink!
I have a tattoo of a Golden Snitch and it’s my only tattoo at the moment [and I LOVE it] but I’d love to start work on my half sleeve sometime soon 😀
I love my tattoo of the flock of birds on my back. It makes me feel individual, which is what a tattoo should do
I have two tattoos and both are very personal/special to me…
My 1st was a print of my husband’s lips (on my hip)
and my second is our daughter’s footprint (on my back)
I dont have any tattoos but I would love to get a dragon, as I was born in the year of Dragon 🙂
I just got my first tattoo this year. It’s 3 dahlia flowers on my right shoulder. My favorite flower and the flowers used at my wedding.
Skull with a crown!
I’ve been planning a Celtic tree of life on my shoulder. It has taken me so long to find the right design, I’m now looking at merging two different versions
A Thistle, to remind me of my East Coast Roots! OR me playing air-guitar while riding a dragon that’s shooting stars from its behind.
A large chinese guardian lion (foo dog) on my right arm. The meaning is private….
I’ve considered a tattoo with the Zerg symbol from Starcraft II.
my favourite one i have is the back of my hand done to look like a skeleton hand
I have been thinking about a “stylish” and colourful Canadian “maple leaf” for a looong time.
I want a pin-up girl
I have a regrettable Pisces symbol on my shoulder – I got it before I realized the Astrological symbols were actually no longer valid. Now I want to cover it with some symbol of my daughter. She’ll always be valid.
I would like to get a new tattoo that has my wife’s name it it, probably over my heart (I know, corny isn’t it?)
My right forearm has a tattoo of a group of voyageurs in a canoe, flying in front of the lions gate bridge with the lions peaks in the background.
The flying canoe is for my favourite canadian folktale of “chasse galerie” (aka “the witched canoe”) and it also represents my two favourite beers
the canoe is an exact copy of the canoe on the Maudite beer label
and the lions gate bridge was commissioned by the guinness family!
There’s a collection of tattoo ideas on my pinterest board: http://pinterest.com/smavvy/tattoooos/. The first one will be a whirlwind of leaves across my ribs.
I just got my first tattoo on my left forearm (last name) would love to get ideas to add to it
I just got my first tattoo on my left forearm (last name) would love to get ideas to add to that
Likely my parents names.
simple tattoos especially one’s of sayings.
I have a steller’s jay sitting in a cherry blossom branch in a watercolour style, symbolizes my move to Vancouver from Toronto 🙂
I looking at getting Foo Dogs on each side of my rib cage. Already have a half sleeve on my left arm of a koi.
My favorite tattoo of mine is my sleeve depicting literature examples of hubris. It includes Faust, Dorian Gray, and Frankenstein and his monster.I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the negative pursuits of knowlege and commemorated it with this sleeve. People at Starbucks aren’t that interested in my liberal arts sleeve when I given then their venti mochas.
I want a rose and rip mom
