Vancouver Canada Day 2010: Canada Place
byCanada Place is hosting a Canada Day celebration downtown this year. Canada Place has done an amazing job of restoring the “fun” downtown for Canada Day when just a few years ago we weren’t allowed any parades or fireworks. For 2009, Canada Day at Canada Place was awarded the 2010 IABC Gold Quill Communication Management Award of Merit for ‘Special Event’, and was the winner of the BC Event Awards’ Best Festival in 2009.
