Control Alt Delete Movie Pass Giveaway
byAt the 2008 Vancouver International Film Festival I watched as BC filmmaker Cameron Labine collected the International Film Guide Inspiration Award for Control Alt Delete. The film that takes the line “I love my computer” to a whole new level was awarded for its “unique visual style, daring content and expansive execution by an emerging filmmaker”.
Now being released in theatres, Control Alt Delete, starring Tyler Labine (Reaper) is screening April 21st at Tinseltown and I have ten double passes to give away along with a cheeky prize pack. You can preview the trailer although be advised, it contains explicit adult language and content.
To enter to win one of ten passes, leave a comment on this post stating why you love your computer (don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be the same way that Labine’s character loves his). You can also enter by posting the following on Twitter:

I love my computer because its a useful resource for me , it reminds me of things i have to do and its entertaining because I can do anything on it.
I love my computer because it is a window into a completely different world apart from reality. It let’s me access a slew of information almost immediately and let’s me connect to a vast array of people.
It’s also decorated with stickers only a four-year-old would appreciate.
I love my computer for many reasons… including (but not limited to) the fact that I can get news quickly, use cool social media sites, play games, and chat with family and friends.
I love my computer because it holds all the memries my brain is incabable of containing. Where would I be if I couldn’t look back easily to see my kids as they grow up (via pictures) or re-read essays I did for a class or refresh my memory about the MANY renovations we have done in our house (my blog posts)
I love my computer because it connects me to the rest of the world and lets me know that I’m never alone… and gives me hope by reminding me that I’m not the worst out there.
I love my computer and it is a must as I can’t live without being connected to social media these days
