VIFF Stella Artois Insider Search

stella_artoisOne of the official sponsors of this year’s Vancouver International Film Festival is Stella Artois and they would like to share the VIFF excitement with one lucky person.

They’re on the hunt to find a special Insider who will attend galas, parties, screenings, and premiers on their behalf.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend screenings, premieres and great parties as the Stella Artois Légère Insider
  • Post real-time tweets throughout the duration of VIFF
  • Provide Insider experiences to fellow followers

    • Stella has already been pulling in tweets from those covering TIFF and VIFF on their Insider page (including tweets from Marina Antunes and me) to help keep the social media buzz going for these two wonderful festivals.

    If you’d like to be considered for their official VIFF Insider position they’re looking for individuals with the following:

  • A passion for all things film and entertainment
  • A desire to rub elbows with celebrities
  • The ability to capture a moment in a short number of words
  • A pre-existing Twitter following and an interest in social media
  • Must have valid photo I.D. and be at least 19 years of age

    • It is a paid contract position that starts September 29th and will run through October 20th. The chosen Insider will be provided with travel, lodging and food. There’s no purchase necessary and you can apply online until September 25th, 2009.

      An awesome opportunity and really, who wouldn’t want access to FREE great movies? Good luck everyone!

      And just an FYI – apparently there’s another festival taking place at the same time which is using the #VIFF hashtag so the few of us tweeting through the festival are using #viff09
