Comments 2 by Rebecca Bollwitt

This afternoon we’ll be heading out to Holland Park in Surrey to cover the 2nd annual Fusion Festival. On tap this year is a diverse multicultural mix of food, entertainment and activities for all ages combined into one mega (and FREE) outdoor festival.

There are several stages setup with entertainment all day and some of this evening’s performances include:

On the Chevron Stage…

  • 5:45pm El Dorado
  • 6:30pm Shane Philip
  • 7:15pm The Fugitives
  • On the Coast Capital Savings World Music Stage

  • 4:00pm Voices of the Pacific Rim with the Vancouver Opera
  • 5:15pm Mani Khaira
  • 6:00pm Maffie and Crew
  • 7:00pm Said the Whale
  • 8:00pm Barney Bentall and the Grand Cariboo Opry
  • 9:00pm Joel Plaskett
  • Things pick up again tomorrow morning as day two of the Fusion Festival features Alex Cuba, Pavlo, Rik Emmett, and Oscar Lopez, along with dozens of other acts.

I’ll have photos and more coverage from Surrey later on today.

Update: Here is John‘s entire collections of colourful photos from the day.
