Jon Stewart Talks About Twitter

Comments 5 by Rebecca Bollwitt

I saw a link to this pop through on Twitter this morning so I thought it was worth its own post. I’m asked on a daily basis about Twitter and its benefits and some people pretty much have the same comments as Jon Stewart here in this clip where he talks about Twitter with Samantha Bee (whom I had the chance to meet briefly last winter in Toronto).

Update: I shake my fist at Viacom for removing the video from YouTube and also at The Daily Show that makes Canadians go to the Comedy Network site for videos then doesn’t even post the clips.

I like how the Growl of the person who recorded the segment is visible as well. As a side note, remember to enter my Dairy Queen contest by Thursday for a chance to win one of four gift cards – read the post for entry details and feel free to re-tweet using the tag #Miss604DQ.

This was hilarious, but also see Evan Williams’ recent appearance on Charlie Rose talking about: does anyone even know what the hell Twitter is?

“Social communications are really hard to monetize. Information seeking activities are much easier to monetize, and Google being the ultimate example. Twitter is somewhere in between.” -Evan Williams
