Vancouver Webcams
byAlthough Katkam‘s Western view has been the webcam of choice for years, during last year’s blogathon I found a site that listed over a dozen webcams from around the Vancouver area.
A few weeks ago on my Talk1410am segment I highlighted a few more area views and I discovered the many sides of the Vancouver.com webcam.
There are North, South-East, and North-East shots that give some amazing views on mornings like this.
I’m also a fan of the Numinous webcam as well as the Jericho Beach webcam. I’m curious to know if there are any more out there worth checking out.

These are Webcam pics? Wow, great quality, I just clicked on the “live” view. Vancouver looks like a nice place (perhaps except the harbour pic with the rails, there only the lightning is nice 😉 )
Nice photos. Thanks!
Yes these web cams on vancouver.com are great! I check them on a daily basis… Not only you can see the city, also useful is to see the weather conditions and traffic throughout the city!
Nice views. I’m fortunate to work on a project at Waterfront where I get to see a fairly good 360 degree panorama of the mountains and the city, and get to watch the sun rise every morning [when it does]. I tried taking some pictures for your Flickr group today but my camera made blurry shots. I’ll try again another time.
This morning the dawn was pink and red and the sky clear. The north shore always glitters so beautifully at 7am.
[…] Miss 604 reminds me of how gorgeous Vancouver is. […]
[…] featured a few area webcams before however on days like today, when people need to get across the region while the roads are covered […]
Great pics – but I urge you to check out Vancouver’s Newest webcam:

The site and the camera are still being fine-tuned, but do take a visit and enjoy !
The Vancouver.com webcams are always open in a tab on my computer. I use them to check to see what the weather is like in Vancouver. I just love looking over to the North Shore, as the view I am seeing is similar to the view my wife sees every day from the Shaw Tower. I also love the KatKam site, they had a brilliant slideshow of the lightning which went on last summer on the night of the fireworks.
