Paws for a Cause in Vancouver
byThere’s just one day to go in the Benji, Casey, Pete and Bella campaign for Paws for a Cause. For months now Keira has been fundraising for this very worthy organization and Matt (who helped Duane and I with the Blogathon) also backed the fundraising effort with updates on his website.
To me they are not my pets, they are my family, and therefore my equals – and I treat them as such every day of their lives.
My unconditional love for my dogs is equal to that felt for my family and dearest friends. I would, without hesitation, sacrifice whatever need be sacrificed to see them healthy and happy, they are that important to me.
You can read my post for more background on my relationship with these lovable pups and Keira is also offering some incentive to those who contribute:
Amongst those who have made contributions of more than $20, I will be raffling off a $50 gift card to the shop of the winner’s choice (Future Shop? Home Depot? Urban Outfitters?). In addition, MatthewGood.org’s very own accomplished photographer, Duane Storey, is giving away an 8?x10? print of one of his phenomenal HDR photos snapped in and around Vancouver.
I believe they have now reached their goal after rallying over the past few days however, if you would still like to contribute to the BC SPCA donations for Paws for a Cause are still very welcome. Thanks everyone and best of luck to all those taking part in the walk tomorrow at all 37 locations around the region.
