Yearbook Yourself, I Always Wanted to Know What I Looked Like in 1966

Comments 1 by Rebecca Bollwitt

Last week Manga Mania was taking Twitter by storm. A website that allows you to customize an avatar with your personal traits was quickly commandeering everyone’s profile photo and I’d say about 70% of my contacts currently have the out-of-the-box cartoon images of themselves applied.

While browsing some feeds I came across Yearbook Yourself on TechCrunch, another way to morph your image into something different:

I find it much more amusing since it places your face into stock yearbook photos from 1950-2000. I always wondered what I would look like with feathered hair.

Their MySQL server is down 🙁

Looks like they can survive a TechCrunch spike, but the Miss604 spike was their undoing.
