Slippery When Wet
byThe other day I was offered some Bon Jovi tickets for this evening and the Surrey girl inside of me just couldn’t pass them up.
I grabbed my girl Keira and tonight we tossed back two plastic cups of wine and enjoyed a trip down memory lane. Every single person there was singing along at the top of their lungs to many of the “oldies” and fans were able to hear the new album in its entirety (which was a little bit too country for my liking).
As a good child of the 80s I was pleased to witness certain singles like Livin’ on a Prayer, Bad Medicine, and Wanted Dead or Alive – you know, the kinda tunes that would close down the Wheelhouse on a Friday night.

The stage was decorated with Christmas lights and Santa even made an appearance during the encore. It was fun to watch Richie Sambora play, and the band’s sound was pretty spot on while Jon danced around the stage in pants that left nothing to the imagination. It was a pretty good ending to this crazy-busy weekend – the rest of my blurred camera phone pics are up on Flickr.
