How do you top the lush, natural beauty of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park? By adding in tens of thousands of twinkling lights, the world’s tallest living Christmas tree, and a benefit to local charities — that’s how!
Capilano Suspension Bridge presents their annual Canyon Lights festivities from November 30, 2013 until January 4, 2014 (excluding Christmas Day) and they will indeed have the world’s tallest living Christmas tree standing at 46.4m (152 feet) tall and adorned with thousands of sparkling lights.
Park guests will also be dazzled by hundreds of thousands of lights glittering throughout the rainforest, across the Suspension Bridge and on CLIFFWALK, the Park’s newest attraction. A children’s scavenger hunt, gingerbread cookie decorating, sing-a-long carols with the holiday band and glass blowing workshops with Malcolm Macfadyen are all back by popular demand.
When you visit Canyon Lights partial proceeds from your admission will be donated to the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund. Your admission also allows us to continue hosting community nights for local charities including: Special Olympics BC, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Lower Mainland, North Shore Neigbourhood House, Kids Up Front, Canuck Place, and Easter Seals.
Canyon Lights tickets are valid all day with holiday activities beginning at 4:00pm. Pricing can be found online including the Family Pass for $65 that includes two adults and two children ages 6 t0 16. Rates are subject to GST, children must be accompanied by a person 17 years or over, and dogs on leashes are permitted throughout the park.
