Vancouver Giants YouTube Challenge 2012: Win Tickets to the Teddy Bear Toss Game
byThe Vancouver Giants have launched a YouTube Challenge, similar to their successful campaign last year. The goal will be to reach 150,000 views on their new video (embedded below) by their annual Teddy Bear Toss Night which is December 14, 2012 at 7:00pm. If the video reaches this milestone, White Spot and the Vancouver Giants will team up for a $10,000 donation to the CKNW Orphans’ Fund and The Province Empty Stocking Fund.
So please watch the video, share the video, re-tweet the video, and get as many eyeballs to it as possible. It’s probably the easier way you’ll be able to give back and make a difference this season.
Tickets are also currently on sale for Teddy Bear Toss Night where the crowd is encourage to bring a new, unwrapped toy for donation.
About the CKNW Orphans’ Fund: Established by radio station CKNW, the CKNW Orphans’ Fund has been operating since 1945. We are dedicated to promoting the health and welfare of physically, mentally challenged and disadvantaged children in BC communities. Throughout the years the fund has awarded over 30 million dollars to over 200,000 special needs and vulnerable children, their families and the organizations working on their behalf. For over 60 years we have been able to assist children to gain independence and confidence through your generosity.
About The Province Empty Stocking Fund: Now celebrating its 94th year, The Province Empty Stocking Fund has grown to become one of the largest newspaper Christmas fund drives in Canada. The Fund has been able to count on the generosity of caring people, year after year, to help those most in need. Community organizations that benefit from money raised include organizations such as designated Christmas Bureaus, Salvation Army units and other worthwhile charitable organizations throughout BC. United Way of the Lower Mainland administers the fund in partnership with The Province Empty Stocking Fund, while all administration costs of the campaign are covered by The Province newspaper.
