byBC Place will open its roof for the BC Lions tonight as thousands of spectators enjoy the newly renovated stadium. I’ve been tracking the progress since the dome deflated in May of 2010 and following along whenever the public notices a new addition or more recently, the stadium’s impressive light show. The official ribbon cutting ceremony will take place today at 6:00pm with Pat Bell, Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation, Dennis Skulsky, President & CEO, BC Lions Football Club, and Premier Christy Clark, Province of British Columbia. You can watch the ceremony outside Gate A at the Terry Fox Plaza prior to doors opening for the BC Lions game.
