Vancouver Police Museum Bootleggers’ Ball
byThe Vancouver Police Museum is hosting a creative fundraiser with a saucy twist that will take party-goers back to a time of prohibition (and rum-running) in Vancouver for the Bootleggers’ Ball.
Where Biltmore Cabaret (396 Kingsway, Vancouver)
When Friday April 8, 2011 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm
In celebration of the museum’s 25th anniversary, the Bootleggers’ Ball was inspired by their popular “Sins of the City” tour. Attendees are encouraged to come in period attire (flapper dresses, pinstripes) and will enjoy burlesque and Vaudeville performances throughout the night by The Creaking Planks, The Vaudevillians, Lola Frost, Darla DeVine and Lacey L’Amour.
Silent auction prizes will be available for bids and although the event has a prohibition-era theme, drinks will be flowing. Tickets are available individually or in groups for $40 a piece.
A a media sponsor of the event, I have two tickets to give away as well. Here’s how you can enter to win:
I will draw one winner at random from all entries on March 30th at 12:00pm. You must be 19+ to enter this contest as the venue is not all-ages. Please enjoy responsibly and plan a safe ride home.
Update The winner is Eileen! Have a fantastic time at the event!
Update Unfortunately Eileen can’t make it so the runner up is Patrick Davidson!
