The rush and stress of last minute shopping will wind down after today, only to be woken Saturday morning with excitement and cheer. Fuelled by egg nog, candy canes, and chocolates, the festivities will carry over through the end of 2010 — a year of Olympic proportions here in Vancouver.

While I have no theme for This Week in Photos (there’s no snow on the ground and everything is quite soggy, actually) the following is just a small sample of life in Vancouver over the last two weeks as captured and contributed to the Miss604 Flickr Group.

    Yay! I finally made it into one of these things. Taking the picture of the Christmas tree in Tinseltown was surprisingly difficult. Would have helped if I had a tripod with me at the time.
