Throughout the year Liberty Wine Merchants hosts fundraising events featuring delectable sips and nibbles in exceptional settings. Next week is their final event of the year: Fall into Market on Granville Island.

Where The Net Loft on Granville Island
When Thursday, November 4th from 7:30pm until 9:30pm
Tickets Available for $24.99 at Liberty Wine Merchant locations.

This wine tasting event will feature wines of the Pacific Northwest along with tasty samplings from Granville Island food purveyors. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the BC SPCA.

I have two tickets to give away for this event and you can enter to win by leaving a comment about your favourite item to pick up on Granville Island or at Liberty Wine Merchants. I will draw one winner at random on Monday November 1st at 12:00pm.

    After the release, my favorite wine to pick up at Liberty Wines is the Black Hills Estate Nota Bene. Such a wonderful treat!

    I enjoy the Aresti Sauvignon Blanc as a great, cheap wine from Liberty. There is too much good stuff and Granville Island to pick just one thing!

    Granville Island is always a fun way to spend an afternoon! It would be so great to attend this event (and Especially seeing that it proceeds the SPCA!).

    I love picking up some fresh cheese curds, bread and an apple and eating them outside the Granville Island Market.

    Oyama Sausage is awesome. Lee’s is also a great place to get a snack.

    I shop regularly at Terra Breads, Oyama Sausage, and the Grainery. The produce places are very convenient too.

    My favourite thing to pick up from the Granville Island market gotta be the blueberry bread at Terra Breads.

    I love driving from Langley to Granville Island. I could spend a full day wandering the market and looking at all the boutique shops. My favourite thing to do at G.I. is to visit the hilarious guys at Oyama, then stopping in at Liberty for wine then heading to my friend’s in kits to share my delicious goodies 🙂

    Fav item at Granville Isle has to be the lamb sausage from Armando’s Meats…yummy!

    Fav item from Liberty is the Smith Woodhouse ports – go great with cigars!!

    A bottle of port from Liberty Wine Merchants, some blue cheese from Dussa’s, prosciutto from Oyama’s, cranberry pistachio bread from Terra Breads, some pears from one of the fruit vendors, a selection of chocolates from ChocolaTas and a bunch of fresh flowers = Christmas Eve

    Sign me up! I love Liberty Wine and Edible BC at Granville Island. My favourite items: anything from Oyama, especially the boar sausage!

    Liberty wines had the best value shiraz ever done by Kirkland, an Australian vinyard for only 13.00!! Too bad they don’t have anymore of it. But lots of other great wines!

    Any available Oregon or California pinot noir from Liberty is a terrific treat!

    On Granville Island I love getting dried lavender from the dried herb merchant, steel cut oats from the bulk food merchant and fresh baked pies!

    I have been taking the comedy improv workshops every saturday. This past Saturday, I bought (the best chai tea ever) from Granville Island Tea house, an umbrella from the The Umbrella Shop and a new paintbrush from Opus, my all time favourite store ever!

    So many things to do, buy, drink @ Granville but I enjoy lobster fest at the keg thru the summer ! Definitley worth the drive from chilliwack !
