IMC 2010 Keynote with Guy Kawasaki, Win Tickets
byThe annual Internet Marketing Conference is happening in Vancouver next week featuring keynote speaker, Guy Kawasaki. I liveblogged several sessions at the IMC in 2008 and found that they were a great group of people who recognized the importance of social media in today’s marketing landscape.
The two-day conference at the Four Seasons Hotel downtown will feature a keynote from silicon valley venture capitalist and author Guy Kawasaki.
He is the founder of Alltop.com, where you can find feeds from the top sites in the world listed in practically any category imaginable. Kawasaki is also a legend in the marketing world for being the man behind Apple’s 1984 Macintosh campaign.
His keynote will be based on his new book, Enchantment: The Art of Changing Hearts, Minds, and Actions.
I have a ticket to give away for Guy Kawasaki’s keynote at 9:00am on September 23rd. This ticket for Day 3 of the Internet Marketing Conference is worth $595.
Here’s how you can enter to win:
The Internet Marketing Conference takes place in 10 cities around the globe and the Vancouver event will feature many local business owners and marketing professionals who will share advice, stories, and lessons to be learned. The winner of the ticket to the keynote will be welcome to stay for the rest of the day’s sessions as well as coffee breaks and lunch.
I will draw one winner (at random, from all entries received) tomorrow at 5:00pm since the event is happening next week.
Update The winner is Jane, congratulations!

I was hoping a contest to attend this event would take place and what do you know! Thanks Miss604! It’s a pricey one that I would love to attend but just can’t find the money to do so. I would love to go!
Vancouver needs more of these types of conferences/workshops to ensure this city’s marketing and IT professionals remain competitive and ensure we are utilizing technology for business as effectively as possible.
Hi, I read Guy Kawasaki’s book “Art of the Start” and think he has a refreshing perspective on business – I’d love to attend his talk!
Would love to go!
I would love to win tickets for my Dad!
Having met Guy earlier this year at the Olympic Hockey Tweetup, I would absolutely love to hear what he has to say at the conference.
I work in the Internet Marketing field. I would love to attend!
What a great opportunity. I’m a newbie to the world of social media and have just started following the prolific Mr. Kawasaki. The rest of the conference looks mighty interesting as well.
I work in the Internet Marketing Field, and very much look up to Mr. Kawasaki and it would be an honor attending a key note he spoke at. Not to mention that this conference would be such an amazing learning experience.
Would love to hear Guy Kawasaki’s keynote! His insights would not only be so valuable and motivating!
Oh wow – I would really like that – it’d be super valuable for what I do all day long.
Guy Kawasaki rocks! I’ve learned heaps from him through following him on Twitter and his books and website. The conference sounds fabulous and incredibly beneficial for marketers in Vancouver.
I’d like to hear Guy speak for a number of reasons: 1, to find out where he see’s convergance of brand and social media, 2, to connect with fellow marketers on topic and 3, to gain insights on how to enhance guest experience in planning for BCAIM conference this fall (getcontagious.com)
The guys at IIMA do a great job putting on events and the fact that they’ve pulled in Guy Kawasaki is awesome! It would be really cool to hear him speak and connect with fellow marketers on convergence of brand and social media
I would love to go 🙂
PICK ME!!!!!!!
Guy Kawasaki tweeted me once, and it was the single greatest moment of my life, which could only be topped if I win tickets to see him in the flesh at IMC 2010 from Miss 604! Obviously, I’m exaggerating a little, but the guy does have some pretty great headlines, and as a copywriter, I truly appreciate that skill.
Indeed, good job IMC Vancouver for bringing Guy. He’s a great speaker.
For those of you going or not to IMC Vancouver, feel free to drop by the SEM Meetup, which is going to be held at the Four Season’s as part of the official IMC Vancouver event.
It’s free and you don’t have to be an IMC attendee to be there. Here’s the link to RSVP: http://www.meetup.com/VancouverSEM/calendar/14694619/
Perhaps Guy will be there too?
Thanks for sharing the opportunity to attend this event! Would be cool to go.

Guy is a phenom, and he is one of the best presenters out there. Would love to see him in person!
I would love to go to this event, as I am an aspiring PR specialist, and would like to learn more about the business world, particularly the PR/marketing field. Also, as a student, this would be a valuable networking event for me to attend. Please give me a chance to go, Miss 604! Thanks =)
What a great opportunity and experience this would be for a new grad, like me, entering the online marketing strategy world for work. Guy is so inspiring and knowledgeable. Please pick me Miss 604 to attend the 2010 IMC. @tay_woo

I would love to see Guy!
Thanks for sharing the opportunity.

Sounds like a good conference and for setting up this contest
I mean “THANKS” for setting up this contest and for being integral to many of the social media events that have happened around our city
Fabulous opportunity for all – especially us NPO’s who don’t have the budget for such events. Fingers crossed for the winning ticket!
Pick me, pick me.
Would love to go!
I would LOVE to attend this! Thanks so much for the opportunity 🙂
Would love to go!
Yes, I’d like to go. Come on random picker! My number is up.
It’s not a matter of being there for the sake of being there.
I want to go because I want to be inspired.
I once attended a teacher’s conference where an Olympic Medalist was a key-note speaker back in 2008… It pushed me to grow both mentally and psychologically. My work-ethics wouldn’t be where it is today without that key-note speaker.
I absorb information like a sponge so it’s not as if the opportunity of sending me there would be wasted. 🙂
Help me grow!
Has the winning number been picked yet?
Sounds interesting – I’d love to attend
