Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar, Win a $75 GC for Dinner
byRogue Kitchen & Wetbar has moved into Waterfront Station, adjacent to sister property Steamworks. With an impressive BC beer selection, sunny patio, and poutine that looks to-die-for, it’s a hot new pub worth checking out.
Inside Rogue there is elaborate wood decor, vaulted ceilings, and one massive dining room. The food menu itself is eclectic, offering everything from mini corn dogs to Korean short ribs and baba ghanoush. Entrees from lobster mac n’ cheese to steak of salmon start at about $14.99.
Be sure to check in on Foursquare if you stop by as they also have a Foursquare-specific offer for patrons. Another special offer is a $75 gift card for dinner at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar that I have been offered as a giveaway to my readers. Here’s how to enter to win the gift card:
I will draw one winner next Thursday, August 19th at 10:00am.
Update My $75 gift card winner is Bernadette. As a special bonus (since there was such a response to this contest) Rogue is offering up three $25 gift cards as runner-up prizes. Those winners are: @AngieQuaale @nucksgrl and Jeremy.

Best patio in Van is definitely Joe Fortes. Runner ups; Boat House, Yaletown Keg, Steamworks and Subeez!
Haven’t been to many patios, but the Kingston rooftop patio was pretty good.
Best patio is Bridges…
The new Milestone’s on Cambie has a pretty nice view of downtown.
Love the patio at the lift.
I’m tied between the Mill Marine Bistro and Chill Winston.
While there are a ton of awesome more formal patios in the city, for a great casual beer & burger patio I would recommend Darby’s @ 4th & Macdonald 🙂
I love the patios at Rouge and Earls on Robson
Gotta love Rogue burger and the Sushi Explosion!
Favorite patio is the Jericho Galley Patio & Grill.
mmmm…sounds delicious!!
My favorite patio in Vancouver has got to be Bridges on Granville Island.
I love soaking up the atmosphere on a sunny day in Gastown at Chill Winston’s patio. Good people watching too!

The patio at Boathouse (english bay) is definitely one of my favourites.
Haven’t had the opportunity to try a patio for our eats in the city. But I sure like sitting out on a good day if we can.
Yaletown Brewing has a great patio.
Royal Vancouver Yacht Club patio. But since it is not totally accessible, second is Local at Kits.
Steamworks and the Pirate Bar (Burrard Bridge Marine Bar and & Grill)
I like the patio at the Boathouse on English Bay.
After a hard days work & B4 boarding the train, Ayza & I sat here shared a pitcher of White Ale and watched the great looking food go by & jug after jug of Sangria…must go back to give this a try
I like Saltaire’s roof top patio in West Vancouver.
My favorite patio in Vancouver (only been there once) is at the Seasons in the Park restaurant in Queen Elizabeth park. Awesome friggin’ view of Downtown.
Love my backyard patio! A sunny day, couple of beers, and a few friends define my summer.
Failing that, Steamworks (and Rogue Kitchen, too) has an amazing patio, same with the Spaghetti Factory!
I love the Chill Winston patio best, but I like the food at the Rogue Kitchen better! Love the poutine!
My patio at home is pretty stellar – I love the patio at Lift too. They have these awesome bonfire pits too in case it gets chilly. Gorgeous!
The Keg in Yaletown also has a stellar rooftop. Yay more patios in Vancouver!
We’ve had some good times on the rooftop patio at Red Robins on Thurlow at Robson. Also the Boathouse, both in kits, and at English Bay.
The Boat House! You can’t beat that view and the seafood is fantastic. A pint of Killer Whale Ale doesn’t hurt either.
I like the rooftop patio at the Kingston – i’m partial to an off-road patio experience (imagine if we had patio-squares like in Europe.. or even Ottawa?).
I’ll keep my favourite patio to myself though 🙂
My patio!!! Ok, second place is the Vancouver Yacht Club, imho!
Local (the old Malone’s in Kits) is the oldie, but a goodie. Although I was impressed with Joey’s on Broadway (near Granville) with the enclosed rooftop patio.
Havana on Commercial! Cheap Mojitos and other girly drinks!
My favourite burger, patio and staff are all at The Local in Kits…
I love The Mill in Coal Harbour. Float planes, water park and a view of the North Shore. Doesn’t get much better then that!
Definately THE KEG in Yaletown.
I think it was voted “best patio” in Playboy Magazine!
Oh, and the Chicken Burger at Rogue is like a McChicken on steroids. Flavor steroids, not the bad kind. It’s awesome.
I love the small patio at the side of the Three Lions Cafe. Always a seat but always people on it too. It sits on Ontario Street, which divides the city (in more ways than one) but it seem to divide the quirky and the “normal” so the people watching is always fabulous. Great staff complements this space…
Sounds like a nice place with good food. Would love to check it out.
Joe Fortes definitely has the prettiest patio and it’s really nice that it’s away from traffic.
I haven’t been on many patios in Vancouver, just the Local.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
The Keg in Yaletown and LOCAL in Kits!

Not private but surrounded by so many expensive yachts it almost feels that way: Dockside Brewing at GI
Good, but sit away from the fence if you don’t want people asking you for change every 5 minutes: Chill Winston
Awesome patio but meh beer selection: Kingston
Best patio ever: it’s tiki, it’s off Main, it’s open to anyone over 19, and that’s all you get. Can’t let the word spread too far.
Yum! Sounds like a great way to spend an afternoon
Local in Kits!
I love the Sand Bar patio 🙂

Monk’s has one of the best patio’s in town!

Boathouse in English Bay
This would be great. HST has annoyed me so we dont’ eat out as much.
Be nice to have a night out at a place that isn’t just a fast-food outlet. Not that I have anything against fast-food (I eat it too) but a change would be welcome – just to get out and dress up a bit & enjoy a quiet/relaxed meal.
Would be great to win this! Thanks 🙂
Just discovered it…Falconette’s rooftop patio on the Drive is aweseome!!
The Boathouse!!
Bridges
Joey’s on Broadway – love it!
http://www.joeyrestaurants.com/location/broadway
Definitely either the Mill Bistro for the beach view, or Rogue for the awesome blankets they leave on the backs of the chairs – perfect for lukewarm late-summer evenings!
Being an out-of-towner, the only Vancouver patio I have ever dined at would be Steamworks. Can’t complain though, love the atmosphere there.
Grouse Mtn!
The Keg Rooftop in Yaletown hands-down!!
My favorite patio has to be the Wicklow on stamps landing. Always reasonable, lots of sun exposure, great views, and a reasonable tap list (although missing my favorite… craft beer).

The Local at Kits Beach is pretty high up there for top patios…
Chill Winston!
I would love to try this pub!
Seasons in the Park — gorgeous!
Jerico Yacht Club. The Mill. Sandbar.
Crave on Main/King Ed. A great patio gives you everything you expect from an indoor dining experience (good food, good service, and the ability to enjoy both in a nice environment, free from being smacked in the face by passing buses, bussers, tourists and whatever else) – only outdoors.
Every single one suggested thus far in the comments are for people who want to be seen by others and quite honestly douche it up.
Crave on Main has a REAR patio that is private from the outside world, and you can relax and bask in the peace and quiet.
While the Keg in Yaletown also has a d*mn nice elevated patio, I would rate Crave’s food offerings to be higher… and there’s a lot more free parking (as opposed to none).
During the summer, Local is my favourite patio!
Favorite patio is at the Granville Island Hotel – it’s underrated.
Looks interesting. Never been, but I love Steamworks! Look forward to checking it out.
Just moved to the city so I don’t have a fave yet!
