MusicFest Vancouver 2010

MusicFest Vancouver (formerly known as Festival Vancouver) presents ten days of jazz, contemporary, world, choral and classical music performances.

One of the first events on the docket is Celebracion! happening August 6th at the Orpheum.

Celebracion! is an amazing gathering of Latin jazz performers from the USA, Argentina, Cuba and Canada. Headlining the show is a Grammy winner, the legendary jazz leader and conguero Poncho Sanchez with his Latin Jazz Band from Los Angeles.

Also on the bill is a returning Vancouver favourite, the Adrian Iaies Trio from Buenos Aires. Plus two dynamic Latin jazz ensembles, Orquesta Goma Dura and Zapato Negro.

    Tickets for all MusicFest performances are available online or by phone. The 10th annual MusicFest runs August 6th until the 15th.
