Win a Coconut Refresh Massage from Vida Spas

Comments 217 by Rebecca Bollwitt

Vida Spas are quickly becoming known for their special seasonal treatments that match winter, spring, summer, and fall. Their latest for a hot sizzling summer is the Coconut Refresh Massage.

Coconut Refresh Massage from Vida SpasThe treatment begins in Vida Spa’s plush relaxation lounge where you’ll sip a refreshing coconut water beverage. Next, you’ll enjoy a fragrant 30-minute coconut oil massage that rapidly nourishes and hydrates, infusing vitamins and nutrients into the skin.

Sore muscles will also find relief from coconut oil, which is readily absorbed by the skin due to the small molecules of the oil. Sun-seekers will also benefit, as the oil can protect against the damaging UV rays that cause premature aging.

This treatment to revitalize and refresh is available from July 12th until August 31st at all Vida Spa locations (Sheraton Wall Centre, Sutton Place Hotel, Westin Bayshore, Fairmont Chateau Whistler, Pan Pacific Hotel Seattle).

If you would like to win a Coconut Refresh Massage from Vida Spas, please leave a comment listing your favourite way to relax during a Vancouver summer. I’ll draw one winner at random from the entries July 26th.

Update My winner is Kym. Enjoy your time at Vida!

I love watching the cricket at Brockton Oval in Stanley Park. Sunshine, a good book, maybe a nice cold beverage – watching a great game and seeing the cruise ships go by… Definitely the best way to unwind in Vancouver during summer. Other than maybe with a refresh massage at Vida!!!

  2. AndreaTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 12:59pm PDT

My favourite way to relax? In the garden with a gin and tonic!

  3. TriciaTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 1:00pm PDT

Flying a kite at Vanier Park or lying on the beach in the sun!

  4. AmandaTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 1:01pm PDT

Obviously my favourite way to relax is with a massage – NOTHING beats that! But when I can’t get an appointment (or can’t afford the luxury of a quality treatment), a blanket and a good book and a patch of shade on the grass at English Bay is the very best way to unwind in Vancity. (A grande Coffee Frappuccino Lite or a scoop of lemon sorbet don’t hurt either.)

  5. BeckyTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 1:02pm PDT

Amazing! My favourite way to relax in Vancouver is reading a funny book on the patio, under a big umbrella with a mojito in my hand and my favourite album playing in the background.

  6. OanaTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 1:06pm PDT

I think the “hanging out on the patio with friends” theme that others have mentioned is one of the best ways to relax during the summer. Not being a guy who really digs the heat, simple stuff like that is not only easy to do, but not too hard to regulate internal temperatures.

It’s just plain tough being a walrus in the summer.

  21. KristenTuesday, July 13th, 2010 — 1:56pm PDT
