submiT Design Contest and Party
bysubmiT was a t-shirt design contest aimed to raised awareness about the education of children in Ethiopia through imagine1day. This Friday they will be hosting a finale party at District 319 to celebrate the campaign and the cause.
imagine1day is a nonprofit organization that provides an opportunity for donors to be directly connected to projects that provide primary education for all children in Ethiopia, Africa.
On July 9th the winning submiTTion will be selected by the submiTTee (judging panel) consisting of some of Vancouvers key supporters of creativity, art and design. This includes Chip and Shannon Wilson (lululemon athletica/i1d), Jennifer Winsor (Winsor Gallery), Kirill Sudosa (Blast Radius), Shannon Heth (Heth PR), Steve Merkley (Raw Canvas).
Art + thought + inspiration + change
= a community coming together to educate a country.
Tickets can be purchased online for $15 and proceeds from the evening will go to the cause. There will be entertainment and refreshments provided along with the unveiling of the winning t-shirt design (view the finalists online here).

I think imagine1day is so awesome. If I won those tickets I would give one to Jered Love.
This would be great! Such a cool idea.
I’m SO pumped about this! One of my friends Zach (@zachbulick) is a finalist in the contest!
I checked out the venue online, it looks really nice. I have never heard of it before.
Sounds like a great event!
