Circle Craft Christmas Market 2009
byEach year dozens of artisans, crafters, and exhibitors showcase their wares and talents in a warm and cozy holiday atmosphere at the Circle Craft Christmas Market.
The 36th annual market will take place next week, from November 11th until the 15th at the Vancouver Convention Centre and the market will once again be offering up some nifty crafting treats. Exhibits include a Student Art Exhibition, an Entertainment Stage, Ballz of Fire glass-blowing workshops, Wood Turning Demonstrations, and more.
As my good friend Keira told me when I asked her about Circle Craft she said, “I Love it! I always go!” Luckily the folks in charge of the event have given me two tickets to give away to a reader and a guest so they can experience the market themselves.
To enter to win the passes, just leave a comment on this blog post or re-tweet including this link (http://bit.ly/1VWOdg) as well as @Miss604 and @CircleCraft.
Find out more about the Circle Craft Christmas Market on their website or blog. I’ll draw the contest winner on November the 10th and they’ll have tickets waiting for them at the Will Call table.
Update: I have drawn Dagmar as the winner of the tickets, congratulations! Thanks to everyone for entering and I hope you’ll check out the market regardless.

Thanks for the information on the fair.
I’m originally from Belgium, Europe, and we used to drive all the way to Germany to visit a Christmas Market.
I’ve missed that around here. We were actually planning to drive to a little town in Washington that is apparently know for it’s German like Christmas Market.
Now we don’t even have to go that far!
Oh pick me!
I love the Circle Craft Christmas market! I’d love to get something for my Austrian inlaws to take with us at Christmas this year. 🙂
Heard how great it is and this year plan on seeing what the hype is all about. It’ll get me in the holiday mood a little earlier than I planned and make me more patient with stores that have been playing X-mas music for weeks now.
Haven’t been in years & would love to go again!
Depending on what day you head down, I might be working at one of the many booths.
Just remember to wear comfy shoes and a lot of the booths do not take plastic so bring cash..
Would love to check this out. I have never gone before but looks interesting!

We go every year. I’ve spent a lot of $$ at Circle Craft over the last 10 years. We get presents, stocking stuffers and yummy treats. Tickleberries anyone?

The Christmas season officially starts with the Circle Craft Christmas Market. It’s tradition to get my first egg nog latte of the season on my way to Circle Craft.
My wife’s been going for years. Would love to win tix for her as a surprise.
Two hands up! I’d love to go.
I haven’t been in years, very excited to go! I also am bring my girlfriend and her boyfriend is coming! I’m surprised but glad to hear this as it is nice to encourage men to attend craft events too!
We go to Circle Craft every year. It has become a family tradition. My husband and I go on the opening day with his sister and then my family drives up from Washington to go with us on the weekend. Last year was the first time taking my daughter… she was only 4 months old! I think she will be more into it this year. I twittered about your contest as well. My twitter is @lilikoilane.
What a treat it would be to go for free this year! Fab contest!
I go every year, but have a weakness for these gorgeous art glass “paintings” and my husband hates that I nearly always come home with one. Please can I have the free tickets to lesson the blow at home?
Some of the exhibits sound great. Would love to go.
This all looks terrific. Count me in for coming to see all the eye-candy! 🙂
I have never been to the Circle Craft Christmas Fair and I would love to take my mom. She is a huge fan of everything Christmas and I really think this would make her day/week/month!
I’d love to go but I’m a starving student!
I’ve never been to a Xmas market, this year might be the year.
Sounds perfect– thanks for the head’s up!
I’ve been planning to go this year – it’ll be my first. Would love to win the tickets!
Missed it last year, but hope to catch it this year! heard great things about this event 🙂
Looks like fun!
Didn’t know about it my first year hear, resolved to go last year but had to leave the country in kinda a hurry in the fall… Really want to go now I’ve found my way back to Vancouver but the need for furniture is greater than gifts this year. Maybe I’ll make it next year…
Tradition is to go to Circle Craft every year with my mom who flies in just for the show & some quality time together…
Adore your blog 🙂
I love this market. It’s been an annual date for me and a close friend for years. To anyone who’s never been: it’s definitely worth going, whether you win tickets or not. And be sure to try the homemade perogies at the little Polish food court!
I am going to check it out for the first time! That photo in the post is gorgeous by the way.
haven’t gone for years, love to go!
The best thing about CIrcle Craft is the food section. So much good stuff! I hope the Christmas Pudding table is back this year.
I would love to take my daughter with me.I think it’s a wonderful gathering of talented people.I always buy my girls an ornament for the tree each year.It would be nice to find something lovely and unique.
