On the cover of the 24 Hours this morning there are a few Canucks fans sporting the latest trend in female fan fashion: what appears to be a jersey, no pants (maybe booty shorts or hidden skirt) and stiletto heels.
Not to pick on these enthusiast ladies at all (we’re all super excited for our team) and I’m all for men and women loving the game and showing their support. I find a good fan to simply be one who has passion for their team year-round regardless of what they’re wearing (although I have had some issues with certain fan attire in the past).
Since we’re all in a Canuck mood, I’ll kick off today’s link fest with a shout out to my podcast co-hosts who are all up to neat things for the playoffs
DaveO from the Canucks Outsider is doing a series of live episodes during games, although we’ll have to wait now until the Canucks are back in action.

I have also just done the draw for my Red Cross Red Carpet Soiree Contest. I ran it on my site as well as on Twitter and you just needed to leave a comment on the post or re-tweet using @RedCarpetSoiree. I then embedded the Twitter stream and we had 25 comments and about 40 Twitter entries. The winner (thanks the draw by Random.org) is… Lesley Chang who entered via Twitter – congrats and I’ll see you at the event on May 6th.
