I’ve had the opportunity to participate in The Amazing Hunt twice now and I gotta say, it’s always a good time. You get to run around the Lower Mainland completing tasks and searching for clues with your teammate, and take part in a very well organized event.

My sister and I did the Surrey edition of the race this past September and last week I received a DVD in the mail. Not only are you completing Road Blocks, Detours, and Merges (since it’s based no the CBS reality series, The Amazing Race) but you’re also being filmed. Bill Lin and his crew truly give you the “Amazing Race” experience in your own back yard.

The races are also uploaded to You Tube in pieces so you can watch archived versions of all of the years’ events.

To find out more about The Amazing Hunt, check out their website or blog. You can also book private races for team building with your group or office.

The 2008 races will take place: March 15 (Richmond), May 3 (Vancouver), July 5 (Family Edition) and August 16 (Langley and Fort Langley).
