the komrade sessions

Holly McNarland’s 6 song EP is now available for download from the iTunes music store [iTunes]. We’re still awaiting her studio album, “Chin Up Buttercup” but I think Komrade Sessions will be able to keep us satisfied until Chin Up’s much-anticipated release in the spring of 2007.

Holly McNarland will be releasing a 6 song EP called “The Komrade Sessions”. She recorded this EP herself with the help of some friends during the spring of 2006. The 6 songs, including “Wait for You” (which is available for listen on MySpace) were recorded band-less. [hollymcnarland.net]

Us fans have been awaiting a new Holly album since we filled our heads with Home is Where my Feet Are, in 2002 [amazon]. Holly’s very active via her website and myspace so if you’re a fan, head on over to the site, the forums, myspace and drop her a line. Hopefully we’ll see some tour dates in the near future – she is amazing live.
