michelle once asked me what shape my year is. by this i was thoroughly confused until she explained – in your head when you picture a calendar year, the seasons, the months — what shape does it take? what is the starting month? now some of you might be giving me the look i gave her at that time but some might get what she was talking about. well my year (in my head) is elliptical and usually starts with september – i think it’s from school times, it’s burned into my brain. and it consists of 3 sunny months: may, july and august. that is all.

Cute picture.
My vision of a year is very standard – new calendar year. Unfortunately, I celebrate solar New Year and another one a month later, so I guess it doesn’t really get started until February and there is this void that is during cold and rainy January….
Can you see me rolling my eyes? A year is a year. When I think about a year (which I don’t do often because I don’t have time to waste daydreaming), I picture a calendar on the wall with the pages flipping by. GEESH!!
laura! you no fun – go back to your soap operas now :p
Don’t diss the soap operas… your american momma watches them, too. There’s nothing wrong with a little mindless fun especially when you’re not feeling well.
