Ok so planning a wedding is a pretty stressful task. When there’s so much more going on in your life, work, family, stressful timelines and SO much to get done… it’s really nice to slump on the couch for an afternoon watching movies and eating Mocha Almond Fudge ice cream from Safeway. I had a pretty rough morning and ended up taking a sick day from work. I actually have tomorrow off in lieu of a Sunday shift I worked a while back. There’s such a huge to-do list for tomorrow I hope we can get it all done in time.
Tomorrow night, there’s the Vancouver Podcast meetup. John and I will be going since he’s mister podcast (to me at least). It will be great to network, put some names to voices and meet with members of the local podcast community.

Despite everything that’s freaking me out and stressing me out – I know it’s all worth it. There’s always something to look forward to, something to hope and strive for. It’s not about living your life in a bubble, with blinders on and with rose coloured glasses. You can keep your feet on the ground and reach for the stars without having your head in the clouds. …okay did I just sound like Ed McMahon there for a minute? or was that Casey Kasem? yeah.. casey…either way ..sounds like you’d really have to stretch first, warm up and then reach and — okay i’m rambling…

today is groundhog day – i heard some interesting background info about this on the Daily Breakfast Podcast w/ Father Roderick courtesy of John. Ya know I never thought I would sit around in the morning eating porridge, sipping coffee and listening to a catholic priest.

Dunno how much time i’ll have to blog in the next few days (i always say that then find the time). We’re going to be out and about a lot. hopefully the sun will be shining as it was today over this great city.
